As first reported in November 2009 by Fanhouse. Georges St. Pierre face off against the English man Dan Hardy in the main event. The co-main event will be for the interim heavyweight championship with former UFC heavyweight champ Frank Mir against Shane Carwin who was supposed to fight the current UFC champ Brock Lesnar who is out with an intestinal illness indefinitely. The fight will happen on March 27th.
My predictions—
Georges St. Pierre will finish Dan Hardy in the 2nd round via ground and pound. Dan Hardy is a great fighter but like I said in my previous blogs that the UFC champions are to dominate for their divisions. Hardy should be fighting Josh Koscheck who has been on a terror as of late. As for Frank Mir vs Shane Carwin. Frank will submit Shane in the 3rd round with an armbar. Carwin will go to his wrestling base and try to take Mir down repeatedly an eventually he will get submitted by the dangerous Black Belt in BJJ.
