rd 1. AJ gets a takedown, spends most of the round with light GNP and brutal body shots.
rd. 2 Choice comes out swinging and lands a heavy punch that stuns Mathews. Mathews recovers and gets a takedwon. On top in side mount dropping elbows. AJ gets back control and both hooks in. Punching Choice in the side of the head with big right hands. Switching to throwing left hands and the ref stops the fight after Choice stops defending himself.

Cleber Luciano vs Todd Willingham 155lbs
Suprisingly this is a stand up battle with both men landing a few non power shots. Cleber is unable to secure a takedown. Wild exchange in the corner and Cleber lands big left hook. Cleber lands a big knee. Todd lands a big right hands, but Cleber recovers. Cleber finally lands a double leg take down and begins to work a choke but ten seconds left in the round and time expires.
Rd. 2 Stand up battle. Cleber has his hands low and Todd seems gassed. Neither fighter landed any big shots. Cleber is telegraphing his shot and stuffed several times. Big left hook to the temple from Luciano. Todd recovers. Cleber lands two nice front leg kicks. Huge right hand from Luciano, he is gaining momentum. Cleber secures back control and quickly forces his opponent to tap out due to rear naked choke submission

Joao Silva vs. Erin beach 155lbs
rd.1 Silva is dominating on the groubnd. pulls tight standing gaurd and works for a submission, but no luck. Beach is defending well and landing strikes and Silva works a single leg in the corner. Silva loses single leg and both men return to the feet.Silva working for armbar from his back, but Beach escapes to his feet. Silva is blkeeding above his left eye. Beach landed beach knees and shots. Silva gets a takedown and works a foot lock, but Beach escapes. Beach lands leather landing 1-2 combos and drops Silva. Silva pulls gaurd and recovers. Silva works for an arm bar, but ten seconds remain in the round and Beach Survives.
rd. 2 same as round one. Beach landin g 1-2 combos, and Silva working for a single leg and losing the exchanges. Silva getting tagged, but not rocked. Silva is now getting hurt and covering up during exchanges. Works for a desperation single legs and fails. Beach is dominating on the feet and Silva missing single legs. Oh my goodness. Silva lands a huge left hook out of nowhere, but Beach recovers. Beach has Silva prime for the KO. 1 big punch can finish this fight. Silva looking slow and is cut above his eye. Silva is dropped by a body punch but gets to his feet. he is eating unasnwered blows to the chin. He is ready to fal. Oh, big 1-2 combo and Silva hits the mat. Big John makes him get up. Great heart from Silva. Silva eat another 1-2 combo and hits the mat. Big John makes him stand. Beach keeps dropping him and making him stand. Someone the rounds ends with both men still standing.
Rd. 3 lackluster. Butt scooting by Silva. Once again Silva dropped but gets to his feet. Silva butt scooting like it’s his job. Beach has had him prime for a KO and playing it safe, not looking for the finish. Beach kicked in balls, but shrugs it off and says he’s ready to fight. Same as round 2, but less strikes landed from Beach.
30-27 Beach in my opinion. Maybe 30-26. lets wait for the judges decision.

Jorge Ortiz vs. Terry Martin 170lbs
rd. 1 Terry throwing big leather as usual and fight goes to the ground. Terry throwing punches and working from the gaurd. Fight back to the feet and throwing. Terry with a front headlock clinch and throwing knees to the head, leg and body. Jorge esacpes and is in the corner and going for position. Both men circle out to center of the ring. Terry throwing some huge leather but not landing clean. Terry with a takedown, but not much doing from the ground. round ends. Terry wins the round.
rd. 2 Terry working a single leg in the corner. Not much action and heading towards a stalemate. Both men circling, moving slowly and breathing heavy. Terry lands a counter left hook and eats a few leg kicks. Hard to hit the elusive Jorge. Terry grazes with big left and works single in corner. Jorge working for a cross face and kimura back and forth. Terry gets the single leg. not much aciton.
rd. 3
Both men standing, but Jorge is too ellusive for Martin. Big right from Martin and Jorge kicks him in the balls. Both men throwing and not landingmuch. Terry throwing biger shots and grazing, but not flush. Teryr now lands a big left, but 10 seconds left.

Gustavo Machado vs. Rick Reeves 185lbs
pretty even round. stand up battle and both guys landed big kicks and big punched. Werdum and Babalu are in the corner of Gustavo. Gustavo eats a huge rights, but lands a counter blow to Reeves. Reeves has a small cut above his left eye.
Big front leg kick by Reeves echos throughout the arena. Huge left hook lands by Reeves. Reeves lands from the clinch and both guys circle out. Reeves is definitely getting the better of the stand up this round. Flurry from Gustavo, he smells blood but can not capitalize on it. Gustavo is missing wildy, throwing huge haymakers. He finally lands and unleashes a flurry. Reeves recovers and lands a leg kick. Gustavo is landed the 1-2 combo at will, but not flush. Reeves with a great punch kick combo and lands to the body. Gustavo not rocked, but hurt. Throws huge spinning backfist but Reeves blocks it. Reeves bleeding from the eye and mouth now.
Rd. 3 niuce flurry and combo of punches lands from Gustavo. Gustavo takes the fight to the ground and both men go for ankle locks. Both men back to feet. Reeves eating jabs like tic tacs. Not much action this round. both men tied up in a body clinch against the ropes. Looking for the ref Herzogg to break them apart. Big foot stomp from Gustavo. Gustavo gets a takedown and looks for an ankle lock but both men quickly recover and get to their feet. Once again tied up against the ropes in the clinch. Both men jockey for position, but not much gas left in either man’s tank. Lackluster final round. waiting for the decision. Toss up. Reeves landed cleaner strikes, but Gustavo

Jens Pulver vs. Diego Garijo 155lbs
rd. 1 come out swinging. both men landing. pulver lands uppercuts from clinch and diego overhand right. Both men throwing leather, too exciting of a fight to type the play by play..brb. oh BOY!!!!. Huge huge straight punch from Diego and Pulver hits the floor hard. Diego pull a guillotine from bottom guard. Pulver taps out 1 minute into the first round.

Thales Leites vs. Matt Horwich 185lb title fight
rd. 1 thales lands early and drops matt, but he recovers. in the clinch jockey for position. Oh no, thales lands cleans shots to matt, but he recovers. Horwich really losing the stand up battle. Eats an overhand right and pushed into the corner and a clinch position. Thales slams horwich. Thales in butterfly gaurd and landing. Matt gets to his feet. Matt is dropped by leg sweep. He is really getting lit up. Matt gets a body clinch and working for position. Matt has mild back/side control and working position. Thales is too strong on the ground and reverses it. Back to the feet. Horwich ducks a punch and gets a nice double leg as the first round expires. Thales working a arm lock about to break Horwich’s arm as clock expires.
rd.2 Clinch and Thales looking for gaurd. Working open gaurd and gets back to his feet. Body clinch in the corner. Taking turns gaining position on the ropes. Thales with a weak takedown from behind. On top in half gaurd. Top side headlock working control by Thales. Looking to pass. This is a back and forth wreslting match. Now Horwich in half gaurd. Thales looking to pass again. And it goes back to the feet. Big knee to the head and Horwich drops Thales. Matt is on top working GNP. Horwich working GNP from open gaurd. Horwich finishes the round strong.
Rd. 3 more or less the same as previous two rounds. Thales on top looking for head control. Thales is looking to pass and moves to side control. Now to back control and Horwich may be in trouble here. A very tight top side arm choke. Matt is going to sleep…and no he is still awake….this choke is tight. wow!!!! Matt breaks the hold. He was in serious trouble. Wow. Matt works an omaplata arm sweep..has Thales in trouble. Thales fighting the arm lock. serious 10th planet shit going down from Horwich and Thales escapes. Crowd yells BOA for Thales!!! Thales now has top side control. round ends.
Rd. 4 Horwich with a take down and secures back control. working a RNC and matt howrich with the submssion victory. Incredible come from behind victory at the start of round 4. Congrats Matt.

Jason Lambert vs. Tony Lopez 205lb title fight
rd. 1 both men circle., Lopez looks like a giant next to Lambert. A good 6 inch heigh difference. Feeling each other out still a minute in. Both men throwing for show and feeling out; no big shots landing. Lambert goes for a single, but can not secure it. In clinch on ropes. Dirty Boxing by Lambert and they circle out. Lambert looking for a takedown, but can’t secure it. In the corner Lopez eating shots to body and pressing Lopez against ropes. Lamberts lands a knee and finally gets a takedown from the body clinch. Lambert in half gaurd on top. Lopez sweeps and goes for a RNC. Both men back to feet after a scramble. Back in corner same as before Lambert with pressure and looking for body lock takedwon. Lackluster round. Lambert wins the round though with the two takedowns and mild GNP. very mild GNP. Actually maybe a few strikes would be more accurate.
rd. 2 Lambert has pressure on Lopez in the corner. Working a body clinch and landing knees periodically. Oh no. Lamberts slips and Lopez gets a clinch and KOs him with a huge knee. out of nowhere. Great KO victory by Lopez.

Tim Sylvia vs. Paul Buentello Heavyweight title fight
rd `. Tim lands first with a right hand and kick. Paul lands the jab. Both men circling. Tim is huge up close. Tim working his jab. Big right from Buentello. Tim has him in the corner. Buentello looking sharp though and defending well. Sylvia working the body and foot stomps in the corner. Action has slowed to a snails crawl. Still against the ropes. Big John breaks them up. Huge side kick from Tim to the ribs. Lands flush. Paul eats a right to the chin. Tim lands a knee from the clinch. Wow out of the clinch Paul swinging hard and lands a few big uppercuts. Tim presses him back against the ropes in the corner. Big John sends them to the middle. Big elbow in the corner from Tim. Big flurry to finish round by both men and back into the corner. Tim takes the round.
rd. 2 Paul eats a leg kick and winces. Paul eating jabs like a fat kid at a sloppy joe and ice cream buffet. Paul backed into the corner by Tim. Both men leaning on each other, not much action. Sylvia landing big knees to the body. Paul’s side is bright red from the kick to the ribs last round. John breaks them up. Paul lands big out the restart. He needs to let his hands go. Paul has a bounce to his step now. He is looking fresh and landing the jab. Tim catches him in the clinch and takes back control of the fight and pushes Paul into the corner. Sylvia has a clinch int he corner, landing knees and punches. Another big knee to the body. Paul is bleeding from his right eye. Working his jab and Tim landed big leg kicks. Paul is dropped by a right hand as buzzer sounds and the fight is called. Big uppercut from Sylvia and this fight is over at the bell.
