WOW! in yet another insane twist to the already hard to believe storyline leading up the GSP vs Nick Diaz title fight; it happens again. UFC Champion Georges St. Pierre has suffered a serious injury that will keep him out of action for 10 months. Therefore, now Nick Diaz will face Carlos Condit for the UFC interim Welterweight title at UFC 143. It seems as though some force is making it impossible for the champion GSP to face Nick Diaz. The two men were schedule to meet at UFC 137, but Nick Diaz was pulled from the bout due to missing promotional activities for the fight. Now, once again scheduled to meet for the title, GSP is injured and the bout, once again scrapped. The winner of Carlos Condit vs Nick Diaz will be awarded the interim welterweight title, meaning that they will be deemed the champion if GSP is unable to ever return or they will face GSP to solidify who the title when he is healthy.
