Last night UFC president Dana White posted on his official twitter account that Nick Diaz vs Carlos Condit would happen and an official announcement was scheduled for this Friday, in Las Vegas, NV. Well, less than 24hrs later, it appears as if the match has been scrapped. Cesar Gracie, the long time coach and manager of Nick Diaz, was asked by ESPN.com if the bout would take place earlier today. Gracie replied to ESPN.com by saying
“Yeah, I said that (there will be no rematch). But that’s all I can say,” Gracie said. “I can’t say anything else. I can’t do anything.
“Quote that if you want to. There is not going to be a rematch. Other than that, that’s all I can say.”
Well no further explanation was given to ESPN.com, speculation has been running wild as to why the bout was cancelled. Although nothing has been confirmed by a source within the Diaz or Condit camp, UFC insider’s have hinted at a possible problem with Diaz and the post fight urine analysis. More details to come as we get them.

saw the fight, both fighters avoided attacking. Diaz tried to call Condit out and at the same time avoided the charge. bit of a boring fight !!
