The 185 lbs. king and UFC Champion Anderson Silva looked sharp as always at the UFC 162 open workout, help at the Wynn Hotel and Casino today. On the other hand, the challenger Chris Weidman seemed slow, less technical and disinterested in the process. Although, one can never tell if someone is not trying to show their opponent how they look, dealing with a rough weight cut or that is truley how they look in person. As noted, looks are deceiving, but the challenger Weidman, did not look like he was on the same level as Silva during his short workout. Another UFC fighter notorious for not showing anything during his workout’s is Roy Nelson, among others, so most likely Weidman did not want to risk a silly injury or show the Champion what he is truly made of; forcing Silva to wait until Saturday night at UFC 162.
