UFC signs James Toney: Dana White confirms
It’s official, the UFC has managed to sign current NABO and IBA heavyweight boxing champion James “Lights Out” Toney (72-6, 0-0MMA) to a multi-fight deal. Toney has been forcing himself on to the UFC roster since stalking Dana White at UFC 108. Dana White, who is a hardcore boxing fan, has decided to sign the 41 year old boxer and heres what he had to say to Yahoo!sports.com:

A 2001 graduate of Hofstra University in Long Island, N.Y., Rich Attonito wrestled several different weight classes as a member of the Pride wrestling team including the 167-pound and 197-pound. divisions. Attonito has been training with American Top Team since he moved to Florida in 2006. He is the strength and conditioning coach for UFC veteran Luigi Fioravanti.

Fedor Emelianenko on Cro Cop: “There is something that broke in him.”
WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko has shed his opinion on Mirko Cro Cop stating that he is no longer the same man he was in Pride.
Speaking with a Ukranian website, the champ had this to say:
“I think that in that time Mirko was in his best form (Fedor said of their epic battle at Pride Final Conflict 2005). He was in good physical shape and he was on a psychological lift. He was a very interesting fighter. He had great potential. Now something happened to him. and he does not have either the physical condition or mental attitude.”
